Sony used to consistently rank at the top of earbuds lists and even held the noise cancelling crown in the past. They have a great reputation, but the industry has since moved on very quickly and they've started to fall behind the competition. Sony calls their new WF-1000XM5 the 'best noise cancelling headphones'...which is a pretty bold claim in 2023.

This video will look at everything the earbuds have to offer, what's changed from the mark 4s and crucially...how these actually compare to the rest of the market.
