AppleJack terminó su relación con Trenderhoof, al comprender que ambos tenían otros intereses sexuales, amorosos y que su relación fue un romance corto. Quedaron en buenos términos, como amigos, pero después, AJ se enteró de que estaba embarazada. Sin embargo, decidió no contarle nada a su ex para que no se sintiera atado a tener que estar juntos, ella quería que fuera feliz con el pony que de verdad amaba.

Por otro lado, Soarin se divorció de Rainbow, pues su relación no iba bien y el tener hijos no estaba en sus planes, después de todo, esto mismo pasó con su anterior matrimonio, Spitfire, con quién también tuvo un hijo. Rainbow estaba realmente devastada, no sabía cómo cuidaría a un bebé ella sola.

Durante sus embarazos, las amigas y familiares de AJ y RD las apoyaron en todo momento, pero ambas se dieron cuenta de los sentimientos que tenían una por la otra y que solo se volvieron más fuertes después de pasar varios meses juntas, apoyándose.
Después de que nacieran tanto Apple Jewel como los mellizos Aquamarine Storm y Sapphire Rain, hijos de sus anteriores parejas, Rainbow y AJ se casaron y adoptaron a los hijos de la otra, para en muy poco tiempo, con la ayuda de Twilight que ejecutó un hechizo que las ayudara, comenzar a expandir su familia. Sus siguientes hijos son Zap Apple Cider, Jonnahgold y Apple Beam.

Resumidamente, Jewel se dedica al periodismo, Aqua y Sassy entraron a las reservas de los Wonderbolts, Zap es el guitarrista de una banda llamada “Mad Ink”, Jonny se dedica al trabajo en la granja y a la venta de sus productos fuera de Ponyville (creo que esto les da una pista sobre por qué perdió una de sus alas) y a Bee le encanta pasar tiempo con sus hermanos y está en busca de su talento especial.
