Why We Needed Barbie (2023) In American Sign Language // American Sign Language Vlog

On December 15, MAX (formally known as HBO or HBO MAX) released a version of Barbie (2023) with an ASL interpreter/performer (Leila Hanaumi) on screen throughout the entire movie. This is a major win for the deaf community and accessibility. Of course, there have been some commentary from others that don't understand why this is needed, so I wanted to talk about that in this video.
