This is the second mellow track to have come from Donnalyn, as she veers away from her usual happy and bubbly tune, offering a different but still appealing taste of her music. “Sabi Niya” showcases how much Donnalyn has matured as a singer and lyricist, as she tells a story coming from two points of view. The track begins speaking about promises that are being made by a man, asking her to trust in him and to not be afraid to fall in love. Then it ends in a surprising twist, as Donnalyn now reveals the reality of how those promises were broken.
