Paola Ogechi Egonu (born 18 December 1998) is an Italian professional volleyball player. Currently, she plays for the Italian volleyball club Vero Volley Milano and is a member of the Italian women's national team.
Egonu is 1m93 tall with spike of 3m44 and a block of 3m21.She possesses very high range of smashes and currently her rebounding power has broken the decades-old record of world volleyball legend Mireya Luis.
Despite losing in the second leg, egonu helped Vero Volley Milano club win the golden set and win the final against Fenerbahçe club. Egonu brought Milano to the CEV 2024 final to meet the strongest opponent in Italy and on all fronts, Imoco.
This is also the 5th consecutive time Egonu has entered the CEV final - one of the most attractive tournaments at the club level worldwide.
