Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is just around the corner and we muggles are getting very excited to return to the wizarding world. The film recently put out a final trailer and dropped a bombshell in it, confirming a long-running fan theory. That got us wondering about what other fan theories could be true in the film, so we compiled an amazing list of theories that may actually be true! Some are answers fans want the answers to, such as how the Ministry agents are able to apparate into Hogwarts when fans know that isn’t possible by the time of the Harry Potter films. Another is that with Nagini now being part of the five-film prequels, will Voldemort show up in the following three? Much like the first film, Credence Barebones is likely going to play a big role in the plot of the film, but there’s a good chance that his real family are some pretty dark wizards. Speaking of that family, the Lestranges, it’s likely that Leta is pitting the two Scamander brothers against each other. Jacob was one of our favorite characters in the first film, so how is it that he has his memory back in the second? Heading back to Credence for a minute, but there may be a connection between his Obscurial power and that of a Horcrux. Grindelwald is rising to power in Europe in the late 1920s, around the time when the Germans were rising to power, could Grindelwald’s rise be influencing the Axis powers? Speaking of influencing, could MACUSA President Seraphina be a double agent or being forced into Grindelwald’s service? Why can’t Dumbledore move against Grindelwald and why is it Newt? And finally, we speculate how Ariana Dumbledore may be an Obscurial and how that influenced Grindelwald.
