He explains how to turn conflict into non-flict. Dr. Amir Kfir is co-author of the book “Nonflict – the Art of Everyday Peacemaking”. The book deals with bringing peace dialogue into complex conflicting groups and learning how to put oneself in the other person’s shoes in order to develop empathy. This empathy comes with a deeper understanding of how to manage the needs of another person you are in conflict with.
Dr. Amir Kfir is an organizational psychologist and management change leader who works in over 40 countries. For 25 years, Amir has been helping companies worldwide in organizational transformation and has been the leader of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) forum methodology process. He has also facilitated Peace Action Forums globally. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
