Abandoned House in Portugal Renovation - 3 Year Timelapse

We're three years in and have many more years to go...

In this video we'll show you everything we've done to renovate this abandoned stone farm house in central Portugal – so far!

This project has definitely been full of surprises and work that we didn't ever imagine doing or taking on ourselves but it's been an exciting journey so far.

We've done lots of demolition and rip out – from bathrooms to rotten wood to old damaged plaster. We've done a bit of rebuilding, using traditional and natural materials where possible. So far we've tried our hand at constructing stud walls, laying sub floors, doing lots of digging, off grid solar electrics, some plumbing, tiling and lots of lime plastering (with hemp added to the mix).
