Questions to ask new bookkeeping clients (bookkeeper interview!). I this video I break down everything you should ask new bookkeeping clients and my system for bookkeeping interviews. When you are getting to know a new bookkeeping client, I recommend an initial half-hour interview where you can get to know each other. I ask potential clients about their business size, payroll, financial systems, communication style, current bookkeeping system, etc. Hopefully this will help you communicate with your new client so you can see if you'd be a good fit to do their bookkeeping.
