Jamaica launches JSDI (Jamaica Screen Development Initiative) to support filmmakers in Jamaica. The question is - can films make money for Jamaica? Recently, Paramount Pictures spent millions of dollars in Jamaica while filming "Bob Marley: One Love". This is just an example of what it means financially for Jamaica when a Hollywood team comes and brings their budgets to make a movie in Jamaica.
