Swimming Class For Baby

Swimming classes are a great activity for babies and toddlers. There are many social, emotional and physical benefits that children gain from learning to swim. Learning to swim also teaches baby a respect for the water making them less likely to wander into dangerous situations. All swimming lessons require active adult supervision. Remember learning to swim should be a positive and happy experience for parent and child. Children must learn in an environment where they feel safe and secure. All children should progress according to individual readiness. Learn to swim follows basic principals of water familiarisation, breath control, submersion, floating and propulsion. Ideally children should attend swimming lesson twice per week.
