The monks at the Abbey of New Clairvaux traditionally make their own Easter candle each year. The candle will be used at the solemn celebration of the Great Easter Vigil. Gathered in the darkness of early Easter morning (2:30 am) the monks will light and be guided by this pillar of light - symbol of Christ’s resurrection.
