Kim Chigi Art: Abstract Acrylic Painting Demo 8

In this week's video I'm working on a small abstract painting on paper
(9 x 12 inches) for a daily project that runs for 100 days. If this is your first time watching, I'll create a new mixed media abstract piece and journal my way through the process via filming in the studio. I'll be posting some of the videos here weekly, but additionally I'll be posting daily images on my Instagram account as well (link below). I'd love for you all to follow along as I work through the series.

At this stage I'm approximately halfway through this studio project, but still have a long way to go, and it's been great exploring and pushing the boundaries. I always learn so much about my painting practice and skills with these projects. I have found the routine of working on a painting every day is a solid way to condition my mind, eyes and body into developing my own unique style. The more I do it the more I see & understand where I'm going with the paint & materials. I'm excited to see how these develop as I get closer to day 100.
