Ludwig Supraphonic, Acrolite & Super COB Snare Drum Comparison

Описание к видео Ludwig Supraphonic, Acrolite & Super COB Snare Drum Comparison

In this video I compare three classic Ludwig snare drums, all of the same 1960's vintage.
They are:
A Ludwig Acrolite Snare, a Ludwig 400 Supraphonic and a Super Ludwig chrome over brass drum. I play them all by themselves first and then at the drum kit.
I also show you a Ludwig 1970's Supraphonic.
All the drums are using the same heads which are Remo Coated Ambassadors on top, Clear Diplomats (thinnest snare head) on the snare side. In the Drum set portion the 1970's Supra has a Remo Coated Emperor.
The Drum Set setup is:
Ludwig 1961 Drum Set
20" x 14" Bass Drum
12" x 8" Tom
16" x 16" Floor tom
The Cymbals are all 60's Avedis Zildjian
The overhead mics are 2 Neumann U81's
The bass drum mic is a Shure Beta 52
the sticks are my maple Vic Firth Signature drum set sticks available from me at [email protected]
