[TAS] AM2R FATE Any% (No Skips) in

Описание к видео [TAS] AM2R FATE Any% (No Skips) in

This is a tool-assisted speedrun. Visit http://tasvideos.org/ for more information.

This AM2R-Mod was made by Saber Zero. It gives you Hyper Beam (repurposed plasma beam), which is as strong as a Super Missile, Gravity Suit, which was customized to look like Dark Samus and has the abilty to Shinespark everywhere by pressing the AimLock-Button, as well as Speedbooster all from the Start by using a preconfigured Save File. It also uses some custom Music. You can find a download link to it here: https://gitlab.com/Miepee/AM2R-Mods#a...

The first ever completed AM2R TAS. This mod was chosen, because shinesparking everywhere sounds like a neat concept for TASing, and it's less effort to make than a normal Any% run. Nonetheless, it was still difficult, but a lot of fun, to TAS this. It took about 1.5 weeks, to get it finished.
One of the main difficulties were here:
- When is it worth it to (chain) shinespark? When should i just move via morph ball?
- Chaining a shinespark while in the middle of an upwards shinespark, will result in Samus still keeping moving upwards. This is a bug from this Mod.
- Trying to manipulate RNG
Due to Hyper Beam being available from the start and being overpowered as it is, ammo management can be completely rejected, which made it even easier to TAS.

- Why did you not Shinespark Guardian?
Shinesparking Guardian crashes the Game (only on versions based on 1.1).

- Why did you go for Spring Ball and Space Jump, while not going for Spider Ball or High Jump?
Spring Ball and Space Jump are useful for chaining some shinesparks as well as general movement. Due to how often these are used, i decided to collect them. Because spider ball is only useful for cancelling a Ballspark, which is done rarely, it was not collected. While High Jump is faster for general movement, because I'm rarely in the air jumping, I decided to not collect it. Both were not timed.

- What does "No skips" mean?
No going Out of Bounds or using the Blinkout glitch.

- Where's all the cool AM2R Tech?
Almost all Tech is slower than just shinesparking. There are a few used here, but sadly not a lot.

- Can this TAS be faster?
Absolutely. While i was trying to make it as fast as I can, because this is my first "real" TAS and not testing everything very extensively, there definitely is a way to make this faster. By how much, I don't know, but I doubt it'll be Sub 30 by RTA standards.

Huge thanks again to Druid and Naatiska for providing tons of strats and tips for fast movement.
