NEW DIRAC Active Room Treatment (ART) - Revolutionize Audio Calibration?

Dirac Research is looking to the future. Dr. Lars-Johan Brännmark, Research Fellow and Chief Scientist at Dirac, has given a glimpse into what he believes will be the next generation of room correction. Active Room Treatment correction is a concept that goes beyond correcting each speaker individually in the frequency and time domains. Instead, all speakers work together to correct each other, allowing the user to manipulate the spatial qualities of a system and overcome acoustical problems that are usually left unaddressed.
