1994 California Regionals at the newly built Pond Arena where the San Jose Sharks (Pro Hockey Team) play. This was a great high school game that featured Kris Johnson, Shea Cotton and Miles Simon. This would be the 2nd consecutive year that we played Mater Dei. They were ranked higher than use as we took two losses in a row in South Carolina (Myrtle Beach Ball Classic) with one of them coming from Simon Gratz, the former school of my NBA championship (Detroit Pistons) teammate Rasheed Wallace. Kris, Miles and I all signed with Pac-10 schools; UCLA, CAL, and Arizona. This game featured two legendary coaches in Willie West and Gary McKnight.
