What’s up guys, I recently did the infamous Chevrolet 5.3 L lifter release trick. I will say this, it did work it released and drove fine for about two days. And then it collapsed again and now it is stuck in the block. You will notice in the video that the hammering of the lifter causes it to swell a little and gets stuck in the block which is where I’m at. So please don’t bang your lifter and get it stuck in your block just spend the extra time taking the head off and replacing it it’s not that much more work. Good luck guys hope this helps
