Sultan, Bishop Kukah Condemn Death of Deborah Samuel, Tambuwal Orders Full-Scale Investigation

The brutal death of Deborah Samuel, a student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, over, alleged blasphemy, has attracted widespread reactions.

She reportedly wrote what was considered a blasphemous comment about Prophet Muhammed on a students' WhatsApp platform.

Consequently, the Sokoto State government, in reaction to the immoderate development, has ordered the immediate closure of the school.
