The Tigers struggled early as UAB went on a big run to go up by a margin of 22, but that wouldn't last long as Jahvon Quinerely scores a smooth lay up and buzzer beater 3 pointer to send the Tigers to halftime down 15. The Tigers then go on a 18-2 run to start the second half to cut the UAB lead down to 2 before UAB coach Andy Kennedy has a meltdown center court over what he thought was foul which would result in a double tecnical ejection.
