Alpha-2 Prototype: A step toward commercialization

In March 2024, QuantumScape started customer shipments of our 6-layer Alpha-2 prototype battery cells. The Alpha-2 prototype is an important step toward our first commercial product, QSE-5, as it combines higher-loading cathodes with our FlexFrame cell format and improvements to packaging efficiency.
