A.N.Iకి ప్రత్యేక ఇంటర్వ్యూ ఇచ్చిన అమిత్ షా ఉమ్మడి పౌరస్మృతి, ఒకే దేశం-ఒకే ఎన్నికలను అమలు చేస్తామన్నారు. భారత్ లో ఎప్పటికీ నియంతృత్వం రాబోదని స్పష్టం చేశారు. పాకిస్తాన్ ఆక్రమిత కశ్మీర్ ను భారత్ లో విలీనం చేయడానికి భాజపా కట్టుబడి ఉందని, 130 కోట్ల జనాభా కలిగిన అణుశక్తి భారత్ ఎవ్వరికీ భయపడబోదని తేల్చిచెప్పారు. ఇండి కూటమి గెలిస్తే తాను ఇక జైలుకు వెళ్లాల్సిన అవసరం లేదని దిల్లీ సీఎం కేజ్రీవాల్ చెప్పడం కోర్టు ధిక్కరణ కిందకే వస్తుందని అమిత్ షా వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
