To sharpen our skills, Jeremy and I set off to claim a well balanced lunch from nature. One that contains sufficient vitamins, minerals and calories to sustain proper health and nutrition in a sustainable way.

This entire series is about catch n cook!

While many sources claim that "surviving" in nature is simple, that one can just collecting wild edibles and a few fish, it is in fact quite the opposite, and is in actual fact a true struggle against mother nature. Many survival type challenges are involve merely running caloric deficits days on end followed by a recovery period which resumes back in civilization through modern conveniences.

The real question is whether it is possible to live long term in the wild.
