Moderator:

● Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy is a Pakistani nuclear physicist, author and activist, in particular concerned with promotion of freedom of speech, secularism, scientific temper and education in Pakistan.
Discussants:

● Dr. Nasreen Rehman is a lapsed economist who worked in the private and public sectors in the UK and Pakistan before she turned to the arts and humanities. A historian of emotions and aesthetics, Nasreen is a translator, an activist, an academic, and an award-winning screenplay writer, who believes in the power of the arts to transform societies.

● Hajra Ahmed is the founder and Director of Studies at Khaldunia High School. During the past three decades, she has held the posts of senior teacher, academic coordinator and principal and was actively involved in administration, management and teacher training. Her foremost interest in education is to promote critical thinking at all stages of learning.

● Dr. A. H. Nayyar is a physicist, who retired from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad after serving it for over 30 years. He currently works as a freelance consultant. His interests lie in the areas of education, nuclear security, and energy. He also contributes to national, regional and international peace movements.
