Hello everyone! In this video, I am going to be teaching you the amazing card trick that fooled David Blaine. This is a really powerful effect that is known as a card triumph. This is where all the cards are shuffled face up into face down yet when the magician snaps his fingers, the cards go back to normal. This effect is practically self-working so is perfect for beginners to learn.

The magic trick featured in this video is called 'Play it Straight,' a fascinating variation of the classic 'Triumph' effect. This effect, where a chosen card jumps to the top of the deck after shuffling, dates back a long time with notable early versions by Richard Erdnase and Dai Vernon. John Bannon's 'Play it Straight,' published in his 1990 book 'Impossibilia,' adds a unique twist by splitting the deck and shuffling multiple piles, increasing the seemingly impossible nature of the magic.
