Roland TR-808 Vs. TR-8S | How does it sound with samples?

The Roland TR-8S drum machine can import samples. So I sampled the classic TR-808 and used these in the TR-8S, to hear how close it came. I've been wanting to sequence samples TR-style for a while and the TR-8S seemed to be the natural choice.

I decided that the Isla S2400 had to go. I never used the real strength of the S2400 which is as a E-MU SP1200 clone with all that it involves. I used it more as a simple drum samples trigger. For that I can just as easily use the TR-8S and have some nice TR patterns style programming included. So I sold the S2400 and got the TR-8S instead.

Or did I switch the sounds? Who knows? Break the rules.
