Changing How We View Disability w/ Assistive Technology

Meet Andrew Pilkington, award winning filmmaker, producer, and editor who also happens to have Cerebral Palsy. He is gaining attention and reverence for his pivotal role in the film, Best Summer Ever. This is the first feature film to have an integrated cast of people with and without disabilities and is making headlines for it's profound contribution to disability representation in the media.

Andrew grew up in Wayland, Mass. His parents discovered he had Cerebral Palsy when he was an infant, and he did not develop in the same way as other children his age. Andrew does not have full use of his fingers, arms or legs, but in 2021 he is best known as an award winning filmmaker, editor, producer and writer!
