Mere Huzoor is about two Lucknow based Muslim men falling in love with the same woman named Saltalat . One of them is a rprince while the other is a poet. She marries the poet which breaks the prince's heart but he comes to terms with it. Later the poet starts living a lavish life forgetting his family life. He leaves his wife and son which causes people to taunt his wife. Seeing that the situation is worsening the prince marries Saltalat.
