A few weeks ago, I posted a video addressing why the “equal transit time” hypothesis is flawed. This resulted in hundreds of comments. Many were positive and supportive. But some people reveal they are ignorant to the fact that the pressure difference above and under the wing is lift. A common argument is that a flat plate held out of a car window will produce lift like a wing. So, let’s have a look at the physics behind lift.
