Today, Pixel Dan is doing some Toy Hunting in the great state of Ohio at The Toy Department!

The Toy Department is a shop that we've wanted to visit for quite some time, as they are always set up with an amazing booth at many conventions we've attended over the years.

The store location does not disappoint! housed inside of an old Harley Davidson location, this massive brick-and-mortar shop is absolutely packed with a wide variety of toys and collectibles. One thing The Toy Department does incredibly well is stock the many modern independent toy lines, allowing customers the opportunity to see them in-person rather than just through photos online. This makes a huge difference in the purchasing decision, and helps people discover new toy lines.

But if you're not into modern toys, don't worry! The Toy Department also has a massive selection of vintage toys - including GI Joe, Transformers, Star Wars, Masters of the Universe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Toy Biz Marvel, and SO MUCH MORE!

The Toy Department is also home to many amazing action figure prototypes! Being in Ohio has it's perks, as they are housed close to where Kenner's headquarters used to be. This is likely why there are so many amazing prototypes on display and for sale in the shop!
