German Paragliding Open Ager 2022 (strong winds & hot ships)

Coincidentally we were flying in Ager when the German paragliding open 2022 was on. The winds and conditions were a bit lively for me so i decided to film some of the stylish takeoffs that can be found.
The organisers did a epic job, the safety team and launch marshalls made some difficult but necessary calls.Impressive!
However strong winds & hot ships mixed with the desire to fly & win.
To take off in a timed window when the pressure was on made for some interesting launches. Throwing caution to the wind at the expense of the glider.
Don't get me wrong no one stacked it too bad & the pilots are super impressive & have outstanding skill sets, but this just goes to show you can never do enough ground handling.
So if your just starting out on your paragliding adventure maybe this video is for u. Get out and practice!
see with a little more ground handling you can be as good if not better than some of your peers.

To be fair they all looked pretty cool in the air!
