Hot rods? Yep we do those. Lowered cars? Yep we do those. Turbo imports? Yep we do those. Diesel trucks? Yep we do those too. Nasty rock crawling hill climbing dune jumping off-road monsters? Ohh yeah we do those too! Welcome to one of the baddest CJ-8 Jeep Scramblers you'll ever see complete with an LS3 power plant and Mast Motorsports standalone ECU!

A good build takes a while, it does. That could be weeks or months. A GREAT build takes years of tweaking upgrading perfecting searching and finally finding the perfect combination of parts and driving styles. Now, this Jeep truck isn't PERFECT... but it's DAMN close!

What started out life as a simple 1983 Jeep Scrambler has over the years seen it's normal functional life morph into something... much MUCH more. Gone is the original Inline 6, replace with a beefy LS 3 essentially doubling the grunt right out of the box. Gone are the stock gearbox, axles, hubs, suspension... ok gone is almost everything aside from the classic Scrambler body and it's original paint!

In this video we give you a high level overview of the build and some of the extensive parts list that has gone into this ride. Keep in mind as you watch this, it took nearly a DECADE to get this machine just right and even IT still breaks things. Owning and running these things isn't for the faint of heart, nor light on the pockets, but.... can be SO worth it for the smiles!

Lucore Automotive is a small independent mechanic shop in central Ohio just outside of the Columbus / Dublin area. While we DO like to show off some of the cooler projects we work on our core business is keeping the casual customer and daily driver on the road! For all of our friends, family, followers, and subscribers thank you for watching and supporting us!

We hope you enjoy the video, let us know if you want to see more of this machine! Thanks as always to Jeremy Moore of ZTP Mag for the awesome thumbnail!
