This is the first story of mine that was purely born out of how I interpriated the lyrics of a song (usually I create a story and then find a song that fits afterwards). Like the English “spouce”, the Finnish “puoliso” is not gendered and I always imagined Samuli singing about two men and their life together and I had to do something with it. :3

PITCH:
An elderly man spends his early morning reminiscing all the years of his marriage; both the ups and downs.
FEATURING: Dimitri (Anastasia 1997), Eric (The Little Mermaid 1989)


There isn't really a plot-plot here, even thogh there is a story. I want to belive that most of this is straight forward, so I will not add a story description, but if you have any queations just ask.

BULLET-POINTS (spoilers):

- Both Nani and Cindy are adopted.
- Dimitiri lost contact with his parents after he married Eric.
- The “grandchildren” on the wall are Cindy´s biological kids.
- Naveen and Audrey are Dimitri´s close friends.
- Eric is an actor (Belle is his co-worker).
- Eric recovered from his cancer, and he lived to celebrate his and Dimitir´s golden wedding annivercery (AKA: married for 50 years).

Headcanons that are not obvious/shown here:

- Dimitiri is gay, while Eric is ace/homoromantic.
- Cindy walked in her father´s fotsteps and got a career in the arts.
- Nani became an Olympic surfer.
- Cindy married a wonderful man and got 2 children.
- Nani (ace/aro) never married/got a life-partner or had biological children, but lived a fullfilling life nonetheless. She did however become a motherfigure to a teenage fosterchild later in life. (I have plans of making a spinoff video about her)
- Nani has ADHD
- Comared to Dimitiri, Eric´s family hold nothing against him for who he is.
- Dimtiri was a photografpher.

Idea that had to be cut due to lack of space:

The reason why Eric is so sad during the after-party was becasue he had recently been slandered in the news for not being straight. Dimtiri, a paparazzi at the time, had been assigend the mission to get pictures of the humiliated star, but instead of doing his job he came out of the closet himself.
