Vince Staples was once a rapper who had everything needed to become a mainstream success. His album "Summertime 06" went #2 on Billboard. His songs "Norf Norf," "Nate," "Senorita" and many more achieved over 50+ million views on YouTube. He was very funny and likeable - being that he had always seemed wise beyond his years and never flaunted his money and fame. He's never done dr*gs or has ever tasted alcohol. However, upon getting famous and signing a multimillion dollar deal - Vince willingly chose to step away from the spotlight. This was in part due to the content he was displaying in his lyrics - where he portrayed the image of the gangster lifestyle in which he grew up on. Doing so made him realize he was motivating people to commit violent crimes that would lead to more death and crimes that he was accustomed to seeing growing up. And he didn't wanna contribute to that anymore.
