Did you see it?? For this year’s @cadillac Superbowl commercial @legacyeffects proudly collaborated with @opositivefilms, #ralphlaucella, @leoburnett, Production Designer #maiajavan and director @davyshane, to reimagine a young Edward err "Edgar" Scissorhands for @tchalamet.

Coincidentally, the Co-founders of Legacy Effects, John Rosengrant and Shane Mahan, sculpted the original Edward Scissorhands in @timburton’s 1990 feature film for #stanwinstonstudio, which took 8 months to build. Legacy built Edgar’s Scissorhands from scratch to fit @tchalamet in 8 days.

LegacyFX BTS: Makeup and hair was designed by @jaredkrichevsky, who created a look that was beautifully executed on set by @calethomasmakeup and @ashelysscott, while his wardrobe was designed by @melissadcostumes. Edgar's signature scissorhamds were designed by Legacy digital artists @jcharmskool, @ajanas, @adam_sketchbook and @kanuboy13, which were then 3D printed by @deaniebabie on @carbon printers. The hands were then hand crafted and assembled by @carygunnar and #RobRamsdell, with leather work by @monstrgurl @ddiniger together with the #LegacyFXcrew. FX previs and BTS produced by @fforfakepictures and edited by @evilguppy. Congrats to everyone involved for a wonderful, memorable spot!
