Ian Nepomniachtchi (RUS, 2792) played uber fast in most of the matches at World Blitz 2021. In Round 19, he finally met his match in the form of GM Javokhir Sindarov (UZB, 2452). He matched Nepomniachtchi's which put a smile on his face. At one point, the game seemed to have reached almost an impasse, until one of them went for a breakthrough which backfired badly.
