Rekonstrukce Bitvy u Hořic z pohledu účastníka bitvy.

600. výročí jedné z největších bitev husitských válek, bitvy u Hořic, nebo také bitvy na Gothardu, která se odehrála 20. dubna, léta páně 1423 na vrchu Gothard stojícím jihovýchodně od Hořic na Jičínsku. Vojsko pod velením slepého hejtmana Jana Žižky z Trocnova zde drtivě porazilo české velmože shromážděné pod korouhví Čeňka z Vartemberka.

Reconstruction of the Battle of Hořice from the perspective of a participant.

The 600th anniversary of one of the biggest battles of the Hussite wars, the Battle of Hořice, or also the Battle of Gothard, which took place on 20 April, in the year of our Lord 1423, on the Gothard hill standing southeast of Hořice in the Jičín region. Here the army under the command of the blind governor Jan Žižka of Trocnov overwhelmingly defeated the Bohemian grandees gathered under the banner of Čeněk of Vartemberk.
