FACE VOLITION, Interactive Mapping - Festival Panoràmic 2023 (Teaser)

In contemporary society, the human figure is everywhere and, with it, the established desire of the human being to see himself and others. But how much veracity is there in the images we project of our being? "Face Volition" is a video mapping project that explores social issues of identity and makes the malleable concept of beauty the main actor of the artwork. It's a vibrant and dynamic audiovisual journey through the image representation and the performative nature of identity in a game of formal transformation of the projection surface of Roca Umbert FA.
In this way, the end of the projection mapping includes fun interaction with the audience who can modify the appearance of the visual content. The form is transient and can be changed at will.
