However, the government still needs to determine the full extent of the land that needs to be returned, leading to ongoing disputes and confusion.

The government's delay in reclaiming such lands, as evidenced in this case and similar situations with other abandoned school buildings, reflects administrative inefficiencies and a need for coordination between various government departments. This underutilization of valuable land resources highlights the need for better planning and execution in managing land for public benefit, especially in high-need areas like housing and social welfare.
