Trump's first impeachment - 2020

At the end of hours of debate ahead of the House impeachment vote, Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., said President Donald Trump is innocent and again criticized Democrats for how it conducted the impeachment process. Collins spoke at the end of six hours of planned debate over the two articles of impeachment, which charge Trump with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. If passed, the process will then head for a trial in the Senate, where Republicans have a majority. Earlier in the day, the House voted to approve rules for the vote.
