Understanding BLEND Modes: the AVERAGE blend mode (Affinity Photo)

This is the first video of the Understanding BLEND MODES video series where I will dig into 1 blend mode in each video and explain how it works and how it can be used. Today's video will be about AVERAGE Blend mode.

The average blend mode is an easy to understand blend mode and is therefore perfect to kick off the series. The average blend mode is also a not very common used blend mode and can in most cases be replaced by lowering the opacity to 50%. However there are some differences, which i will try to explain in this video.
