Fuzai the Corgi Steals the Show at Weifang International Kite Festival

Our old friend “Fuzai”, China's adorable corgi police dog, has become the star of the 41st Weifang International Kite Festival in Weifang City, Shandong. Tasked with sniffing out explosives, “Fuzai” diligently patrols the festival grounds, capturing hearts with his stubby legs and determined waddle and stealing the kite show.
While his short stature allows him to search under vehicles with ease, it also provides endless amusement for onlookers as he scurries to keep up with his instructor. Crowds gather to snap photos of the charming corgi, with one tourist, Ms. Sun, exclaiming, "I'm so lucky to have met the corgi police dog here today."
Fuzai's popularity has even taken to the skies, inspiring a giant, lifelike corgi kite. Kite dealer Wang Xiaoping explains, "We've made some adjustments to the size, dimension, shape, and stereoscopic vision of the Fuzai Kite, making it suitable for flying and pretty enough to be hung up as a decoration.”
The sight of the Fuzai kite soaring above the festival, mirroring the real Fuzai's dedication on the ground, has become a beloved attraction.With his charm and unwavering commitment to safety, Fuzai the corgi police dog has undoubtedly become the unofficially appointed mascot of the 41st Weifang International Kite Festival.
