Slovakia's PM Robert Fico shot and injured

Slovakia's populist prime minster Robert Fico has been shot and injured.

Witnesses said four shots were fired, and Mr Fico was hit in the stomach.

A suspect has been detained.

Mr Fico has been accused of moving Slovakia towards Russia and away from the West, and of supporting Moscow in the war against Ukraine.
