Bad News, Lufthansa Updates & Finnair Expansion

In continued bad news for Southwest, the airline says it's likely to receive only 20 Boeing 737 MAX jets in 2024, less than half its revised March forecast, amid severe ongoing problems impacting the manufacturer. Meanwhile, Lufthansa has agreed to a pay rise of 16.5% with the union UFO, representing up to 19,000 flight attendants at the national carrier. Lastly, Finnair has announced a significant service expansion for 2024 and 2025, with growth in Japan, the United States, and several other markets.
