Different osoto
This is effective version of osoto gari, that you can use during the randori or competition. You can use it in combination with ouchi gari - great judo combination or like a direct attack. It's depends of the opponent the situation. In this osoto I take basic grip, I approach the opponent, do back step and use my sweeping leg to block the opponents leg. Here is important the control. I use my upper body, step forward and throw the partner with this powerful judo throw. It's a great technique for judo and sambo, bjj, mma - but in no gi we have to use over hook grip position.
