Reginae Carter Talks Lil Wayne, New Car, Not Rapping, Date Challenge, Flirts With Marco + More

Reginae Carter (also known as Baby Carter) is a hip-hop artist and R&B singer. She is the daughter of rap artist Lil Wayne. Before her music career began, Carter showed her musical talents on the 2009 video documentary The Carter. She was recorded singing and rapping at the age of 10. During her music career, she was briefly a member of the R&B girl group OMG Girlz (later known as OMG). She departed from the group following the release of their first single, "Ain't Nobody," to pursue a solo career. At the age of 14, Carter signed to her father's label, Young Money Entertainment. Later that year, on July 2, 2014, she released her first music video, "Mind Goin Crazy." Around age 10, Reginae started to appear on her mother's reality television show Tiny and Toya. Her mother, Toya Carter, and Tiny Harris (T.I.’s wife) starred in the reality show starting in 2009. Carter was also a cast member of Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta. Reginae has three siblings: Cameron Carter, Dwayne Carter III, and Neal Carter.

The interview starts with Marco asking Reginae who she is. Marco gets deep by asking how she feels about being a child of a celebrity. Marco as usual peppers Reginae with awkward questions. Reginae seems to be unbothered until Marco takes a personal call during the interview. The questions continue and Reginae reveals her favorite rapper is Lil Baby. Reginae eventually turns the tables on Marco and starts to ask Marco questions and Marco masterfully regains control of the interview. Marco talks to the producer and they engage in a conversation regarding Reginae that gets a little awkward to say the least. There seems to be a few sparks flying as Reginae and Marco start to openly flirt. The sparks seem to be flying and the two agree to do a date challenge. As the interview begins to wrap, technical difficulties begin to challenge Reginae and Marco and the tension is obvious.
