Restoring a iconic 1944 WW2 M1 garand found underwater, (with test fire). The story behind this rifle is a little odd. So here is what I know, Back in the 1980's there was a man scuba diving in the Red River in North Dakota. He found this M1 garand and displayed it in his scuba shop. Many years later someone else acquired it. After they had it for awhile they messaged me and asked if I wanted to try and restore it. Now here we are, I hope you enjoy the video.
