Bali is famous for Its Balinese cuisine, Temples, & Waterfalls. In this video, we are exploring the Authentic Balinese cuisine, Kento Lempo Waterfall and Tirta Empul - Holy Temple of Bali.

Date of Journey - 22nd March 2024

Below are the Activities we did throughout the day.

Bubur Bali Restaurant - We travelled around 12 km from our Hotel in Ubud & reached at the Bubur Bali Restaurant to have our breakfast. We came to know that here we can get the Balinese cuisine for breakfast.

This restaurant is in a village where you rarely find any tourists. We had Bubur Bali for breakfast ( which included - Sprouted beans, Green chilli, and Grated Roasted Coconut with soaked rice)

Then we also tried their “Tipat Cantok” which is made using rice with peanut sauce.

Bubur Bali Cost - 7,000 IDR (36 INR)
Tipat Cantok - 7,000 IDR (36 INR)

Overall, we enjoyed having breakfast here & highly impressed with the taste of “Bubur Bali”

Kanto Lampo Waterfall - After this we travelled for around 10 mins and reached the Kanto Lampo Waterfall.

You have to go down approx 100 stairs to reach the waterfall.

Ticket Price - 20,000 IDR (100 INR)

We spent some time here and experienced the beauty of this waterfall.

Celuk Village - Then, we travelled around for 30 mins and reached at Celuk Village, to explore some Silver & Gold work here. Here in every house, people do this Gold & silver work, we also visited a house here & learned about the process.

Gold & Silver Shop - After this we visited their Gold & Silver shop & purchased 3 Earrings for my wife.

Garnet Earrings - INR 9000
Pearl Earrings - INR 8000
Shell Earrings - INR 5500

Nukad Restaurant - After this, we travelled for around 45 minutes and reached Nukad Restaurant which is at Tampaksiring village & had our lunch here. We had Mie Goreng (Fried Noodles) & Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) in Lunch.

Mie Goreng Price - 35,000 IDR (180 INR)
Nasi Goreng Price - 38,000 IDR ( 200 INR)

We enjoyed the food & this place so much if you are a nature lover you should definitely come to this warung for food.


Tirta Empul Temple - Then we reached at the Holy Tirta Empul Temple. This Temple is a Hindu Balinese water temple located near the town of Tampaksiring, Bali, Indonesia.

This temple is here from the 2nd Centuary & the complex is a place of worship for the god Indra. This temple has a cool atmosphere with a sacred bathing pool, this pool is believed to be a place of self-purification.

Tirta Empul Tickets - 50,000 IDR (250 INR) Per Person
Temple Timings - 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

After this we ended our day
