The monarch of the fictional nation Latveria, Doctor Doom has been portrayed as both a supervillain and antihero, and is usually depicted as both the archenemy and ally of the Fantastic Four, though he has come into conflict with other superheroes as well, including Spider-Man, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Daredevil, the X-Men, and the Avengers.
