Meet The Siddis: India's Very Own African Community

Jambur, also known as Gujarat’s ‘mini-African’ village, is home to nearly 5,000 people (Siddi community) and 1,500 voters, and has a special polling booth set up.

Diring the Lok Sabha polls, people of Jambur dressed in traditional attire danced their way to the polling booth, to exercise the fundamental right to vote.
